Our 47th season features two young international artists: Jose Franch-Ballester, clarinet, and Di Wu, piano. Franch-Ballester, who visits Cookeville in October to play during the first BSO subscription concert of the season, was born in Moncofa, Spain, to a family of clarinetists and Zarzuela singers. Wu, who returns to Wattenbarger Auditorium in April 2010, was singled out in a 2008 Musical America feature as an "up-and-coming talent" in the classical music world.
