Welcome to the Bryan Symphony Orchestra, one of the many treasures of the Upper Cumberland. If you have never heard our orchestra, then for you, it is still a hidden treasure.
How does it happen that we have a professional orchestra here in Cookeville? It happens because the Bryan Symphony Orchestra is based in the same town with Tennessee Tech University and can draw upon the enormous talent in residence here. It happens because we can tap into the marvelous musical resources of Middle and East Tennessee -- the professional musicians of surrounding cities such as Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.
You can see from the programming for this season that the music will be good. What you may not know yet is that the orchestra will also be very good.
